As sources of information grow ever larger and more distributed, scientists will have to move to the new world of executing complex jobs where the data lives. In this talk, we will be covering what this will look like in the future, and options for how to take advantage of, rather than being overwhelmed, by this opportunity. David heads R&D at Protocol Labs. He previously worked on large open source software projects at Azure, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. David has also created a number of software startups.
