Erik co-authored the original FAIR Guiding Principles and leads the GO FAIR Foundation. His research background is in evolutionary biology.

Davide leads the Multi-Agent Decisions Lab. He is a professor of mathematics and economics at the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam.

George leads the Synthetic Biology lab at Harvard’s Wyss Institute. George developed the first direct genomic sequencing method and helped initiate the Human Genome Project. His innovations have provided the foundational research for Editas, Gen9bio, Vertitas Genetics and other companies.

Gustav is a metascience researcher with interest in transparency, reproducibility, and openness in science. He is a professor of neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet and a national coordinator and domain specialist with the Swedish National Data Service.

Lars leads the Labor Dynamics Institute at Cornell University. He is also a data editor at the American Economic Association.

Thomas is a metascience researcher and professor for Computational Biology at Massey University.

Mark is the co-founder of DataUnion where he focuses on data Sovereignty and data lineage. He also founded Quriosity Studio to support data, AI, and blockchain founders.

James is a mathematician and entrepreneur with a strong vision of the way in which people will access knowledge in the future. A second-time founder, he was the former CEO of the Wolfram Institute, a research organization that he co-founded with Stephen Wolfram. James worked previously at Wolfram Research, Inc., where he was a product manager and Stephen’s research assistant. He began his career in political analysis in Ghana and Washington, D.C.

Michael Zargham is the founder and CEO of BlockScience. Dr. Zargham holds a Ph.D. in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied optimization and control of decentralized networks.
